Do you feel you could contribute to the Community in some way?
Experience is not necessary, training will be given on the Roles & Responsibilities of Councillors. Councillors will be expected to attend trainings in certain matters pertaining to the duties as a Councillor.
The Parish Council consists of local people elected by the community to represent their views and aspirations.
They are the voice of the people representing the views of the community, and are responsible to the people they represent.
The Role of the Parish Council is to work towards improving the well being of its community and providing services at the most local level, in its own right and also in partnership with other bodies, such as the Police, Shropshire Council and Severnside Housing.
Berrington parish Council meets on the first Thursday of every month except for August. The meetings usually take place at The Old Chapel Community Centre, Crosshouses starting at 7.00pm.
