Public Consultations

Shrewsbury North West Relief Road consultation, 2nd March to 13th April 2020

Shropshire Council would like to invite you to take part in a consultation about the proposed
Shrewsbury North West Relief Road (NWRR) which will connect the A5/A458 Churncote
roundabout west of Shrewsbury with the A528/A5124 Ellesmere Road roundabout to the
north. Feedback received during the 2017 consultation has resulted in alterations to parts
of the design of the road, which will now incorporate the previously separate Oxon Link
Road scheme.
The consultation is an opportunity for you to see the current proposals regarding the new
road and discuss them with our teams, before a planning application is submitted in May
2020. Project team members will be available for you to ask questions and to discuss any
concerns that you may have. There will also be a questionnaire for you to fill in to give us
your feedback.
If you cannot attend one of the consultation events, information about the scheme will
be available:
 online at www.shropshire.gov.uk/get-involved for the duration of the consultation;
 at the Shirehall in the reception area for the duration of the consultation; and
